Traditional 19th century stone built cottage overlooking the River Don in rural Aberdeenshire with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Approximately 8 miles from Alford and 5 miles from the village of Glenkindie, where you will find a post office and shop, petrol station and the local Inn which serves food and real ales.
At Kildrummy, which is approximately 25 miles (40 kms) from Aberdeen Airport , there is a restaurant in the Inn.
Local Attractions: Kildrummy Castle is close by and the Lecht Ski Centre, Cairngorm National Park, and Scotland’s Castle and Whisky Trails are all within easy reach. Royal Deeside (Balmoral, Ballater, Braemar) is just over half an hour away.
There are a variety of activities in the area including hill-walking, fishing, golf and skiing.
